Mette Moestrup debuted with the poetry collection ‘Tatoveringer’ in 1998. Her works deal with subjects like ethnicity, heritage, gender and sexuality. She holds a degree in comparative literature from the University of Aarhus and has received awards such as the Montana Literature Award and the Beatrice Prize. Mette Moestrup has taught at the ‘Forfatterskolen’ in Copenhagen and writing schools in Gothenburg, Sweden and Bergen, Norway.
